Republican Unity Event

The Mesa County Young Republicans are hosting a REPUBLICAN UNITY EVENT with the support of The Mesa County Republican Women, The Mesa County Republicans, and The Western Slope Conservative Alliance.   All political candidates and former primary candidates have been invited to attend to attend this event. 

The event will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from noon to 3 p.m. at Sherwood Park (1301 E. Sherwood Dr.), in Grand Junction. Please RSVP to Rose Pugliese, President of Mesa County Young Republicans, at vilarose16@aol.com or (970) 589-3755, if you plan to attend. 

There will NOT be a MCRW Monthly lunch meeting due to having the Unity Event! So, please come to this event and bring a friend.

• MCR is looking for volunteers to man the booth at the Thursday evening Farmer’s Market on Main Street in GJ. If you can do this, please contact Susan Redmond at: danandsusan1@msn.com

• Instead of our usual September Ice Cream Social event, we will be joining the Mesa County Young Republicans to host all the Republican Candidates for a ‘UNITY RALLY’ to be held at Sherwood Park on Sunday, September 12th from 11am to 2pm. We'll have more information for you next month - Put this date on your calendar and plan to attend! Our Candidates need your support!

• The next Women’s Forum will be held at the Gala Café on Sept. 28th from 5:45pm to 6:45pm. The topic: How to get involved in campaigning!

• Do you know a Republican woman worthy of the title, ‘Woman of the Year’...then tell Sharon Sollenbarger. She’s currently taking nominations through November-Give her a call at 256-7766.

• If you think you have what it takes to be part of the MCRW Board for the 2011-12 term, please call or email Heather Benjamin. She is taking information from those interested through October 15th.
